Chicken Oporto - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 lb. mushrooms, thinly sliced
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
1/3 c. white wine
Preparation

In a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat in hot butter, cook mushrooms five minutes.
With a spoon with holes, remove the mushrooms to a small bowl and set aside.
In a plastic bag, combine the flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg and shake it to mix. Insert chicken and shake until it is all coated.
In the remaining butter in the skillet over medium-high heat, cook the chicken breasts until browned on all sides.
Stir in cream, wine and mushrooms and heat to boiling.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the chicken is tender.
This recipe makes 4 servings and takes 45 minutes to prepare.
