Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage
    4 medium onions
    1 bell pepper
    1 med. can pimento (chop all fine)
    1 pt. vinegar
    3 cups sugar
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 tsp. celery
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix cabbage, onions, pepper and pimento in large bowl, set aside.
    Bring to a boil vinegar, sugar, turmeric, mustard seed, celery and salt.
    Let cool and pour over cabbage mixture and place in refrigerator for 12 hor.
    Will keep for weeks.
