Sunday Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/3 c. molasses
2/3 c. milk
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. milk

Preparation

Beat the first 10 ingredients vigorously for two minutes. Stir in baking powder, eggs, soda and milk.
Mix thoroughly and pour into cake pans.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
Frost.
