Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 bay leaf
    1 large onion
    1 bell pepper
    1 clove garlic
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 tsp. thyme
    3 green onions
    2 lb. cooked peeled shrimp
    1 (20 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 c. water (optional)
    6 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    Brown flour and butter.
    Add all ingredients except tomatoes, shrimp and rice.
    Cook 5 minutes; add tomatoes and shrimp and cook 1 hour.
    Serve over rice.
