Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    1 qt. milk
    5 c. whipping cream
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    about 10 lb. crushed or cracked ice
    1 1/2 to 2 c. rock salt
Preparation
    Beat eggs with sugar until thick.
    Pour into chilled 1 gallon ice cream cannister.
    Mix in milk, cream, vanilla and salt. Insert dasher and assemble ice cream freezer.
