Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh asparagus
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    sliced American cheese
Preparation
    Cook asparagus spears.
    Place cooked asparagus in a lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Sprinkle almonds on top of asparagus.
    Pour mushroom soup over asparagus.
    Top with cheese. Heat at 400\u00b0 until cheese is melted.
