Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion
    1/2 pkg. taco seasoning
    8 oz. Cheddar cheese
    2 c. chopped tomatoes
    8 oz. pkg. taco chips
    1 head lettuce
    1 bottle Thousand Island dressing
Preparation
    Brown the ground beef and onion; drain.
    Add seasoning and 1/2 cup water.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Chop up lettuce and toss all ingredients together in large salad bowl.
    Mix in dressing.
    Put crushed taco chips on top.
