Crispy Crunch Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. light corn syrup
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch flavored chips
    4 c. Kix cereal
    1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
Preparation
    Butter a 9 x 9 x 2-inch square pan.
    Heat corn syrup to boiling in a 3-quart square pan; remove from heat.
    Stir in butterscotch chips until melted.
    Gradually fold in cereal until completely coated; fold in marshmallows.
    Press mixture in pan with buttered back of spoon.
    Let stand at least 1 hour.
    Cut into bars about 2 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches.
    Makes 18 bars.
