Nut Roll Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake yeast
    3/4 c. lukewarm milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. warm water
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    3 1/2 to 3 3/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Heat milk; add to shortening and salt.
    Mix all other ingredients together; mix well.
    Let rise 2 hours.
    Use your favorite nut recipe.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
    Before baking, beat 1 egg yolk and brush on bread.
    Prick with fork to let steam out.
    Instead of rolling like a jellyroll, fold the dough for a different effect.
