Green Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. steak, cut into 1/2 x 1-inch strips
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    2 c. water
    1 large green pepper, cut into strips
    2 Tbsp. flour, mixed with 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown steak strips in oil (do not flour).
    Add onion soup mix; mix well.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
    Add strips of pepper; cook until tender.
    Mix cornstarch with 1/2 cup water; add to mixture.
    Stir until thick.
    Serve over cooked rice or you can add frozen Chinese vegetables.
