24 Hour Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1 large onion
    1 green pepper
    1 carrot
    1 c. white sugar
    3/4 c. white vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    2/3 c. salad oil
    2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut vegetables for slaw and put in large jar.
    Mix remaining ingredients in pot; bring to a boil, 1 to 2 minutes.
    Pour over slaw.
    Cover and refrigerate 24 hours.
