Mexican Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple
    2 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. ground walnuts
Preparation
    Add together pineapple and soda.
    Let stand while you mix flour, sugar, salt, eggs and walnuts.
    Mix with pineapple mixture; blend.
    Bake in 13 x 9-inch pan 30 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Check with toothpick.
