German Black Forest Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. chilled whipped cream
3 eggs (1/2 and 2/3 c.)
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. cake flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour 2 round layer pans.
In chilled bowl, beat cream until stiff. Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored.
Fold eggs and vanilla into whipped cream. Stir together remaining ingredients. Fold gently into cream eggs mixture until blended.
Pour into pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
