Eggless Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 c. jam
    3 1/2 c. flour (plain)
    1 1/2 c. English walnuts
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add jam and mix well.
    Add the sifted dry ingredients with the buttermilk.
    Stir in the nuts. Bake in greased pan at 350\u00b0 until cake is done (30 to 40 minutes).
