Baked Pork Chops In Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 pork chops
    salt to taste
    2 c. hot water
    1 Tbsp. flour
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt and brown chops on both sides in skillet in shortening.
    Place in large shallow casserole; drain off all but 2 tablespoons of fat from skillet.
    Blend in flour, salt and pepper in skillet.
    Cook until brown; stir in water gradually, stirring constantly, until smooth.
    Pour over chops.
    Cover and bake in oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until tender at 350\u00b0.
