Donut Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 stick margarine or butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening together well.
    Add egg and milk. Add flour, baking soda, salt and nutmeg.
    Melt in a saucepan the margarine or butter.
    Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until muffins are done.
    When slighlty cooled, dip tops of muffins in the butter or margarine and then into the sugar/cinnamon mixture.
