Divinity Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 stiffly beaten egg whites
Preparation

Cook sugar, corn syrup and water to thin syrup stage.
Slowly pour 1/3 over egg whites, beating constantly.
Cook remaining syrup to 234\u00b0.
Add one half into egg white mixture, beating constantly. Cook remaining syrup to firm ball stage (248\u00b0).
Add to egg white mixture.
Add vanilla.
Beat until mixture holds shape when dropped from spoon.
Swirl from teaspoon onto waxed paper.
Top with English walnut half.
Makes 4 dozen.
