Peanut Fingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 plain chocolate bars, melted
    3/4 c. salted peanuts
Preparation
    Mix shortening, peanut butter, sugars and egg thoroughly.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Stir in.
    Chill about 1 hour.
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cut cookies in 2 1/2-inch oblong shape.
    Bake on greased sheet 2-inches apart for 8 to 10 minutes.
    When cool, dip one end in melted chocolate and then crushed nuts.
