Fresh Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. diced pears
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. flour
    1 c. cooking oil
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar and pears; let sit 1 hour.
    Put oil in pear mixture. Beat eggs and pour in pears.
    Mix all dry ingredients together and add to pear mixture slowly.
    Stir with spoon.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Bake in tube pan.
