Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans Swanson's chicken broth
    1 bunch broccoli
    1 stick butter
    1 qt. half and half, scalded
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Shave broccoli flowerets with a knife or chop very finely. Cook broccoli in chicken broth until tender. Add butter and half and half. Thicken with about 3 tablespoons cornstarch in a little water. Add salt and pepper to taste.
