Sour Cream-Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pitted prunes
    1 tsp. lemon rind
    1 c. soft butter or margarine
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over prunes and let stand 15 minutes. Drain and dice prunes.
    Add 1 teaspoon lemon rind and set aside.
