Quince Honey - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large quinces
4 large sweet apples
juice of 2 lemons
sugar
3 pt. boiling water
Preparation

Pare quince and
apples
and grate them.
Measure pulp. Measure 3/4 as much
sugar
as
pulp.
Pour boiling water over sugar and stir until sugar is almost dissolved.
Add the fruit pulp and lemon juice
and
cook
until mixture is clear.
Pour into clean hot jars and
cover
with paraffin.
It will be the appearance and consistency of honey.
