German Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) pie shell (deep dish)
1 (4 oz.) pkg. German sweet chocolate
1/4 c. butter
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. coconut
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Melt chocolate and butter over low heat.
Remove from heat; blend in milk.
Set aside.
Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt together.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Blend in chocolate mixture; pour into pie shell.
Combine coconut and nuts; sprinkle on top of chocolate mixture.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
