Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 Tbsp. oleo
pinch of soda
garlic salt to taste
2 c. boiling water (try a little less)
2 c. yellow corn meal
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Add oleo to dry ingredients, then pour in boiling water.
Mix well and roll into hush puppies.
Yields 50 to 60 hush puppies. Freezes well.
