Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. white sugar
    1/4 stick oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. canned milk
    2 or 3 c. pecans
Preparation
    Bring sugar, butter and milk to a boil, stirring constantly, until a soft ball when dropped in water.
    Remove from the fire. Add vanilla and pecans.
    Beat until it begins to thicken.
    Drop on wax paper.
