Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. Crisco shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating often after each addition.
    Add buttermilk, vanilla and flour in a large mixing bowl.
    Beat at medium speed until blended.
    Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
