Old-Fashioned Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    1/4 tsp. soda
    6 eggs, separated
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cream
    butter and sugar thoroughly.
    Add egg yolks, one by one.
    Stir
    soda
    into
    flour
    or
    sift
    together.
    To the creamed mixture,
    add
    the
    flour and sour cream alternately. Begin and end with flour.
    Beat the egg whites with the mixer until
    stiff. Fold them carefully into the batter.
    Pour into a Bundt
    or
    angel food
    cake
    pan and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
