Pineapple Lime Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small boxes lime jello
    1 medium can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve liquid)
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 large container Cool Whip
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    8 ice cubes
    shredded cheese (Colby)
Preparation
    Add jello to 2 cups boiling water.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Add 8 ice cubes; stir until melted.
    Add drained pineapple.
    Chill until firm.
    In saucepan, add eggs, lemon juice and sugar.
    Add pineapple juice and water to equal 1 cup.
    Mix in cornstarch until thickened.
    Let cool and spread on jello.
