Schrafft'S Chicken A La King - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
dash of paprika
2 c. hot chicken stock
1/2 c. heavy cream
1/4 c. milk, scalded
2 slightly beaten eggs
2 c. cooked chicken, cut in strips
1 c. mushrooms, sauteed in butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. pimento strips
toast or patty shells
Preparation

Melt butter; add flour and paprika.
Blend.
Slowly add chicken stock, cream and milk, stirring constantly.
Cook 5 minutes on low heat.
Remove from stove and add egg yolks, chicken, mushrooms, salt and pimento strips.
Can be served over toast or patty shells.
