No-Fail Meringue - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg whites
1/2 c. boiling water
1/4 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Blend cornstarch and water in saucepan; stir until it thickens and is clear.
Let stand until completely cool.
Beat egg whites until foamy.
Gradually add sugar, vanilla, salt and cooled cornstarch mixture.
Beat until stiff.
Spread over cooled pie. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
Tops one 9-inch pie pan.
