Shrimp And Sausage Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped bell pepper
1 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 lb. smoked sausage
2 whole bay leaves
1/4 tsp. red pepper
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 lb. cooked and halved shrimp
2 c. long grain rice
1/2 c. chopped parsley
3 c. water
Preparation
-
Using a heavy Dutch oven, saute onion and bell pepper until tender.
Add remaining ingredients, except shrimp, rice and parsley.
Bring to a boil.
Add rice and return to boil.
Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes or until the rice is done.
Add shrimp and parsley.
Heat through.
Serves 6.
