Teriyaki - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. sirloin steak, 1/4 inch thick
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh ginger or 2 tsp. powdered ginger
    2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. soy sauce
    1/2 c. sherry
Preparation
    Cut the steak into thin slices or strips.
    Combine all other ingredients and pour the mixture over the meat.
    Allow to stand 2 hours.
    Thread the meat on skewers and broil quickly on both sides over barbecue or in preheated broiler.
    Serves 4 to 6.
