Sausage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. smoked link sausage, diced
2 16 oz. cans stewed tomatoes
2 15 oz. cans kidney beans
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 medium onions, chopped
4 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
3 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
3 cups water
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. parsley
garlic powder (or chopped garlic) to taste
Preparation

In a large, covered soup pot, combine all ingredients and simmer for 2 hours. You can add other kinds of beans, such as pinto, navy, Great Northern or butter beans.
