Spice Cake With Apples Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 box spice cake mix (Duncan Hines)
1/2 stick margarine
1 can Comstock apple pie filling
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Mix with pastry blender.
Cut margarine into cake mix until crumbly and about the consistency of corn meal.
Grease square baking dish and pour in apples from the can.
Top with cake mix and margarine mixture.
(Nuts can be sprinkled on top.)
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Serve warm with Cool Whip or ice cream. Easy.
Serves 4 (can be readily doubled).
