Short Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
3/4 c. whole milk
1/4 c. butter
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients and sift twice.
Cut in butter and add milk gradually.
Put on floured board.
Roll and cut for individual servings.
Bake approximately 12 minutes in a hot oven. Split and spread with butter.
Any fruit, crushed, and sweetened may be placed between layers and on top.
Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
