Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. chopped onion
4 T. butter
3 T. all purpose flour
2 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
2 c. grated cheese
5 peeled and thinly sliced potatoes
Preparation

For sauce, saute onion in butter.
Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk all at once.
Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
Remove from heat.
Place a layer of sliced potatoes in greased 1 qt. casserole dish.
Add a layer of sauce and a layer of cheese.
Repeat until all sauce is used.
End with cheese on top. Bake 25 min. uncovered.
Check for tenderness, may need to cook longer.
