Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
1 c. sweet milk
2 c. plain flour
1 c. self-rising flour
pinch of salt
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon or butternut flavoring
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Then add eggs and mix until creamy. Sift the two flours together and alternately add the milk and flour to the creamed mixture, mixing well between two additions. Add flavoring. Bake in tube pan about 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
Test to see if cake is done.
