Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. milk
    5 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 pt. cream
    2 3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Heat 1 quart of milk while mixing eggs, cornstarch and sugar. Stir mixture into milk and cook until it comes to a boil.
    Add vanilla and pint of cream.
    Pour all into 6-quart freezer can and pour the rest of the milk in freezer can to the fill line.
    Freeze in electric freezer.
