Plain Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Crisco (do not substitute)
1 2/3 c. sugar
6 eggs
2 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

With electric mixer, cream Crisco.
Add sugar until well mixed.
Add one egg at a time, beating after each one.
By hand, fold in flour.
Add vanilla.
Pour in well-greased and floured tube cake pan.
Bake for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
Allow cake to cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.
