Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. white corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    4 qt. popcorn
Preparation
    Combine margarine, sugar, corn syrup and salt in a microwavable bowl.
    Cook on High in the microwave until it boils or about 4 minutes.
    Stir three times and add baking soda and vanilla.
    Place popcorn in a grocery sack and pour ingredients of bowl into the sack.
    Stir with a wooden spoon.
    Cook 1 1/2 minutes on High in the microwave.
    Add peanuts (optional).
    Cook for last time for 15 seconds.
