Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 crumb (8-inch) pie shell
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1 (15 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
    2 eggs, separated
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar (if desired)
    4 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Gradually stir lemon juice into sweetened condensed milk.
    Add egg yolks and stir until well blended.
    Pour into chilled crumb crust.
    Add cream of tartar to egg whites; beat until almost stiff enough to hold a peak.
    Add sugar gradually, beating until stiff. Pile lightly on pie filling.
    Bake in slow oven (325\u00b0) until lightly browned, about 15 minutes.
    Cool.
