Baked Cavatelli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. corkscrew macaroni
    12 oz. fresh Italian sausage links, sliced 1/2-inch thick
    3/4 c. green onions
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (14 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce (with mushrooms)
    4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning, crushed
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Prepare pasta, drain and set aside.
    Cook sausage in a large skillet; drain fat except for 1 tablespoon.
    Cook green onions and garlic until tender.
    Use 2-quart casserole. Combine pasta, sausage, onion mixture, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, 1/2 Mozzarella, Italian seasoning and pepper.
    Mix thoroughly. Bake, covered, in a
    375\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes.
    Uncover and put remaining Mozzarella on top.
    Continue to bake 5 or 10 minutes more.
