Kentucky Kernals - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. butter
    1/3 c. bourbon
    3 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    semi-sweet chocolate
    paraffin
Preparation
    Soak the pecans in the bourbon overnight.
    Grate the butter into the powdered sugar.
    Use fork to blend, not hands.
    Add nuts and mix well.
    Make into small balls using powdered sugar to keep hands from sticking (the mixture is very soft so I keep it in the refrigerator and do a small amount at a time).
    Freeze balls.
    Dip into melted semi-sweet chocolate and paraffin.
    (I use about 1/4 of a bar of paraffin to one large bag of chips; use only real chocolate chips.)
    Let cool and set.
    Store in a tin in a cool place.
    These are definitely an \"adult only\" confection.
