Aunt Leona'S Johnny Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 well beaten egg
1/2 c. sour cream
2 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Mix and sift the dry ingredients.
Add the sour cream, buttermilk and egg.
Beat well.
Bake in shallow pan in a hot oven (400\u00b0) about 25 minutes.
