Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. fruit (your choice: blackberries, gooseberries, raspberries, blue plums, apples, apricots, peaches, cherries or rhubarb
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Butter 9 x 13-inch pan; place fruit in pan.
    Cream 3/4 cup sugar and butter.
    Add milk, flour, baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
    Mix and spread over fruit.
    Mix 1 cup sugar, cornstarch and dash of salt and spread over batter.
    Pour boiling water over batter and bake one hour at 375\u00b0.
    Can use frozen, canned or fresh fruit.
    If you use canned fruit, use juice for water and reduce some sugar.
