Danish Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 ham bone or ham hocks
water
2 potatoes, peeled and diced
6 green onions, sliced
3 celery stalks, chopped
1/4 c. minced parsley
2 c. chopped cabbage
2 carrots, diced
3 Tbsp. flour
1 c. light cream
Preparation

In kettle, bring ham bone and 2 quarts water to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer one hour.
Remove meat from bone when cools. Return meat to kettle along with rest of ingredients.
Cook 40 minutes.
Stir together flour and 1/4 cup water.
Slowly pour into soup, stirring constantly.
Bring soup to a boil and cook 2 minutes.
Reduce heat and stir in cream.
Remove from heat and serve.
