Asparagus Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 c. boiling water
    1/3 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 tsp. salt
    2 drops green food coloring
    1 small can pimento
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 small can asparagus tips, drained
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 c. pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Soak gelatin in cold water.
    Add hot water to dissolve.
    Add vinegar, salt, sugar, lemon juice and green coloring.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Let stand in refrigerator until it begins to set. Add rest of ingredients.
    Serves 12 to 16.
