Split Pea Soup With Ham(8 Cups Or 4 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. split peas, rinsed
    3 chicken bouillon cubes or 3 tsp. instant granules
    2 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. sliced carrots
    12 oz. cooked, diced ham
Preparation
    In a large pot, cook split peas, bouillon and onion in 12 cups water.
    Bring to boil.
    Reduce and simmer 2 hours.
    Stir occasionally.
    Add carrots and simmer 20 minutes.
    Add ham and simmer 10 minutes or until carrots are tender.
