Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, diced
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    2 cans (8 oz.) tomatoes
    3/4 c. uncooked rice
    2 tsp. chili powder
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a 10-inch skillet, cook and stir meat, onion and green pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.
    Drain off fat.
    Stir in remaining ingredients; heat thoroughly.
    Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole.
    Cover and bake until rice is tender, 30 to 35 minutes.
