Bavarian Apple Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. peeled and sliced apples
3 to 4 oz. sliced almonds (1/2 c.)

Preparation

Cream the first 3 ingredients; blend in flour.
Spread dough onto bottom and sides of 9-inch spring-form cake or torte pan (ungreased).
